WHAT IS WOMEN'S ESCAPE? ITS A GIRL THING!

Women's Escape is a series of 4 on-snow clinics with some of the best female coaches in the business. Bring a friend and meet other like-minded outdoor types looking to improve their on-snow skills.  Each clinic will feature a visiting "all star" woman clinician considered to be one of the best in the sport. This program is designed especially for you!

Dates:

• Thursday: January 19, 2012

Cost:

• $60 per clinic with an advance reservation or $75 the day of. Come to one or join us for all four sessions!

Daily Schedule:

• 8:00 - 8:30am - Check in at the Hampton Lodge to meet your coach and our guest clinician
• 9:00 - Noon - On snow experience
• 12:00 - 1:00pm - Gather back up for a delicious group lunch

• Reservation are suggested.

This on the job training program is designed for skiers and snowboarders ages 12-16.  Skiers should be able to at least confidently make turns on all groomed runs. Snowboard should be able to at least make linked turns down any beginner groomed run. During the course of the program cadets will assist instructors in teaching as well as having the opportunity to improve their own all mountain skills.  They will also have the opportunity to work on skills needed to pass a Level 1 instructor certification.

This is a 13 week program that begins the first weekend in December and runs through the first weekend in March. Cadets may choose to participate in either Saturdays or Sundays for the length of the program.

SINGLE VISIT

This one time offering is designed for schools and home school groups, available mid week only.

Many educators use this mid-week program to explore and educate their students about the winter environment, land use and recreational partnerships as well as winter recreation. A curriculum appropriate for PE credit is available upon request.

Includes:

• 2 Hour Lesson times offered 10am - noon or 1pm-3pm
• Lift Ticket
• Rental Gear for the Day

Requirements:

• Schools must have at least 20 students to participate
