Sunday Forecast

Expect firmer surface conditions today to soften as morning turns to mid-day. Clouds are moving in a little earlier than expected, but there is still a chance of cloud breaks throughout the morning. The Midway deck is still looking like a prime spot for lunch outside today.

Saturday Update

I just got back in from two runs on Chair 2 and things near the top of the mountain really are "dreamy creamy" like we hoped! The new snow skis really well from the top to most of the way down Tumwater. At that point it is still really fun, just moist and grabby if you don't have the wax dialed. Mimi is soft mashed potatoes like you would find on any fun spring day. I 'm about to go out for more and hope to...See you on the Hill! -Tony

2" New On Top, $20 Tickets Today

We have received around 2" of new snow overnight on the upper portion of the mountain and it is still snowing as of 6am. It is snowing heavy enough that the AM Grooming Crews tracks are getting covered up.  We are seeing rain in the Base Area, but most runs are seeing snow right now. Skiing off the top of the mountain is looking pretty sweet for this morning and the earlier you can get here, the better the conditions will be. P.S. $20 lift tickets and a free ice cream sandwich (while supplies last) today in honor of National Ice Cream for Breakfast Day! Photo by GM Josh on the Boundary Road at 6am.

To celebrate national Ice Cream for Breakfast Day,  Mission Ridge is offering $20 lift tickets for ages 10-69 for 2/7 & 2/8! This often overlooked national holiday means a lot to Mission Ridge since our conditions are "dreamy creamy," just like our favorite bowl of ice cream. In celebration Mission Ridge is dropping the ticket price and offering a free ice cream sandwich with your purchase of a lift ticket, so that way you too can participate in national Ice Cream for Breakfast Day. It is gonna be sweet... a lot like ice cream.

Friday Forecast Update

8:55 Update: Our awesome Lift Maintenance Crew got a break in the fog and were able to load up all the chairs on Chair 2. We will have Chairs 1,2 and the Pika Peak Rope Tow ready to run at 9am! 8:15am Update: Due to extremely dense fog at the Summit, there will be a delayed opening of Chair 2. Chair 2 will run as soon as the cloud layer lifts enough to allow for the safe operation of the chair. 6am Update: Warm overnight temps and a decent amount of rain has things feeling pretty tropical out there this morning, but the Upper Basin is still in good shape and should be plenty of fun today. Expect soft turns, wet snow, and a bit of wind at the Summit at times today.

Thursday Conditions Update

This just in from Jodi our Snowsports Director: "So the overall consensus is that skiing/riding today is great! Just enough new snow to make the groomers super fun again. We got a little wet going up chair 1, but it was snow by the time we got to chair 2. Top is good snow (cold and silent:), midway gets a little heavier but still able to push it around (and quiet), bottom is like the perfect spring snow (not water logged but easy sliding)."
