Fun Saturday On Tap

We have a fun day full of events in store and there is even a chance of snow around lunch time. The skiing and riding on the groomed runs should be good again today. Limited Operations Today

Starting the day with Chairs 1 and 3 as well as the Pika Peak Rope Tow. High winds are forecast for the Summit. Chair 2 will be on hold today and may not run at all. Due to the rain and the warm temps, there was no grooming overnight. The snow that was really starting to come down overnight unfortunately  turned to rain, and a good amount of it. We are seeing 1" of new snow in the Upper Basin ovenight, but  what was probably closer to 4" overall got washed out. A HIGH AVALANCE DANGER exists. Do not leave open runs.

Sunday Forecast

Yesterday was a fun day of skiing and riding that had a little something for everyone. The groomed runs were firmer in the morning, but still super carvable. Temps were comfy, winds weren’t an issue, and the views were amazing. There were even some stashes of leftover powder for the more adventurous. I expect a lot of the same today, but with snow expected throughout the day, it's only gonna get better.

A Little Sun And Fun To Start The Weekend

I'm looking forward to starting off the day with a little bit of sunshine, comfortably cool temps, and little to no wind. The clouds will really start to roll in by afternoon; hopefully bring some evening snow with them. Cold overnight temps will have the groomed runs firmed up and they should hold up well throughout the day.
