2" Overnight, Dumping Snow This Morning

Posted on March 3rd, 2014

We received 2” of new snow overnight, 4” in the last 24 hours, and look to receive more snow today.

Forecast

Snow throughout the day with a high near 28 degrees. Southwest wind 10 to 25 mph with gusts as high as 45 mph possible at times on the Summit.

Chairlifts in Operation

Chairs 1, 2, and 3 in operation, as well as the Pika Peak and #100LAPS Rope Tows.

Terrain

100 percent of our trails are open.  Check out the grooming report for full details on groomed runs and open terrain.

Surface Conditions

Groomed runs are looking especially sweet this morning. Expect soft cruiser turns on the a.m. groomed runs and slightly firmer, but very carvable, p.m. groomed runs.

4” in the last 24 hours will have the off-piste conditions softened up nicely. There will be some deep wind deposited pockets out there that are the perfect cure for anybody’s worst case of the Mondays.

Ski and ride with care as unmarked obstacles do exist. Always enjoy the mountain with a partner to share the fun and stay safe.
