Another Bluebird on the Way (Updated)

Posted on November 24th, 2013

An inversion layer has settled over the area, with warmer temps up here at the mountain than in the Wenatchee Valley below. Today's forecast calls for lots of sun with temps near 40 degrees at the summit, cooler temps at the base area and little to no wind. The attached photo is a view from the top early yesterday afternoon and you should expect more of the same today.

The mountain will open with Chairs 1 & 2 (the Liberator Express quad) and the Pika Peak rope tow in operation. Sunspot, Tumwater 2 and Mimi will be open and groomed again today. Tumwater 3 will be open but ungroomed. The ski school will be open, as well as the restaurant with an early season menu. The #100LAPS Terrain Park will not be open this weekend, but we plan to open it Nov. 29.

Please stay on open runs and respect rope lines and trail closures.

Lift ticket prices will be discounted to $20 for ages 7-69, and $5 for ages 6 & under and 70+ to reflect the limited opening of chairlifts and terrain.
