A Bit of New, Calming Winds

Posted on December 23rd, 2013

Some cooling temps rolled in here at the end of the day, turning that morning rain into afternoon snow at the base area. We had snow flurries on and off all day at the summit. We'll check the snow stakes in the morning, but we're thinking at least a couple new inches at the summit. A quarter inch of new at the base (see car pick) when this snow reporter left the mountain this afternoon.

Winds are dropping significantly, and forecast calls for clear skies and much calmer conditions tomorrow.
