OPENING WEEKEND WAS A HIT!
2,250 FT OF PURE AWESOMENESS!
Opening weekend 2011 was one of the earliest best we've ever had!
Due to our AMAZING snow making crew and a little help from La Nina we were able to open earlier than we have since the 80s! 2,250 vertical feet and you could have skied on new skis!

"My favorite moments at Mission are early Thursdays, 9 a.m., after two good days of fresh snowfall. The lifts start and you line up with the retired diehards and powder junkies who called in sick. I love that anticipatory chairlift ride as you just sit in silence count your blessings because you get to do something only a lucky few humans ever get to – glide over pure untracked powder like a snow god."
