Opening Day!

Posted on November 23rd, 2013

Opening Day!  Cold temps over the past week have allowed our hardworking snowmakers to fill in Mimi and the base area. The Upper Basin received enough of the natural stuff in the preseason to open. While trail access will be limited, the trails that are open are in great shape with some killer corduroy.

The mountain will open with Chairs 1 & 2 (the Liberator Express quad) and the Pika Peak rope tow in operation. The ski school will be open, as well as the restaurant with an early season menu. The #100LAPS Terrain Park will not be open this weekend, but we plan to open it Nov. 29.

Please stay on open runs and respect rope lines and trail closures.

Today's forecast calls for beautiful sunny skies, a high in the mid 30's, and little wind.

Lift ticket prices will be discounted to $20 for ages 7-69, and $5 for ages 6 & under and 70+ to reflect the limited opening of chairlifts and terrain.
