Reopening Friday - Partly Sunny Expected

Posted on March 6th, 2014

We are reopening the mountain tomorrow after an unscheduled closure today because of the rain (from Midway down) and associated challenging surface condition for grooming. We are optimistic that conditions are improving and that we can provide some nice groomed surfaces for skiing/riding Friday. Check the snowreport in the morning for the latest update on conditions and trail openings/closures. The uphill policy will remain closed tonight.

We have received 10" of new snow in the upper basin since the lifts last ran.

Tomorrow's forecast is calling for a 10 percent chance of snow showers after 10am. Partly sunny, with a high near 36. West wind 10 to 14 mph, with gusts as high as 28 mph.
