Warmer and Calm

Posted on February 27th, 2014

No new snow in just over 48 hours is the longest we’ve gone in February without new snow.  With a record amount of snow for this month, surface conditions are looking pretty darn sweet.

Forecast

Cloudy, with a high near 32. Winds should be calm, 5-15 mph out of the northwest.

Chairlifts in Operation

Chairs 1, 2, and 3 in operation, as well as the Pika Peak and #100LAPS Rope Tows.

Surface Conditions

Groomed runs (especially those groomed on the p.m. rotation) are firm but hold a good edge this morning.  Check out the grooming report online for full details on groomed terrain.

Surface conditions off the groom are soft and smooth, but just a touch on the grabby side.

Look for surfaces across the mountain to soften as the day progresses.  Dial in the wax and get ready for an awesome day.

Ski and ride with care as unmarked obstacles do exist. Always enjoy the mountain with a partner to share the fun and stay safe.
