1/26/21 Conditions Report

Posted on January 26th, 2021

 Share

The next winter storm has arrived with snow likely today and a nice accumulation forecast for this evening with 4” to 8” of new snow possible over the next 24 hours. Groomed conditions really don’t get much better than they were yesterday morning and we are looking forward to more of the same today. Look for surface conditions to become more variable over the course of the day depending on new snowfall. It will be cold today, especially at the top of Chair 3 so make sure to layer up. For the moment, off-piste (non-groomed) conditions remain firm and variable but look to be refreshed over the next day or so.

Chairs 1, 3, 4, the Pika Peak Rope Tow, and the 100LAPS Rope Tow are scheduled for operation from 9 am to 4 pm today.

It will be cold today so please make sure to dress appropriately for the conditions and remember that we are asking that everyone use their car as their base camp as there is no inside seating at this time and capacity restrictions are in place for all inside spaces.

It is important that everyone recognizes that this season is different from any we’ve experienced. It is up to every individual, both ski area employee and guest, to do their part to help protect the health and safety of our skiing and snowboarding community. Our expectation is that each one of us will follow protocols to help keep each other healthy. We ask all employees and guests to share in this responsibility and help us, “be the reason we have a season.”
