1/28/21 Conditions Report

Posted on January 28th, 2021

10 AM Update Wow, it's been another good morning! The 6" of new overnight made for some great turns this morning and the less steep off-piste was fun to play around in. This snowfall should set up for a great day of turns continuing into our night session. Be cautious on the steeper off-piste as those conditions are a lot more variable.

The train to POW town rolls on. 12" in the last 48 hours have softened things up, there are still plenty of fresh lines to be had. 4" overnight will make for some excellent groomed runs and some refills around the mountain. Off-piste [non-groomed] will continue to be variable so take it slow on your first couple laps to get a feel for the snow beneath your feet.

Chairs 1, 3, 4, the Pika Peak Rope Tow, and the 100LAPS Rope Tow are scheduled for operation from 9 am to 4 pm today with Chair 1, Chair 4, the Pika Peak Rope Tow, and the 100LAPS Rope Tow Scheduled for operation during Night Skiing from 4 pm - 9 pm.

Please make sure to dress appropriately for the conditions and remember that we are asking that everyone use their car as their base camp as there is no inside seating at this time and capacity restrictions are in place for all inside spaces.

It is important that everyone recognizes that this season is different from any we’ve experienced. It is up to every individual, both ski area employee and guest, to do their part to help protect the health and safety of our skiing and snowboarding community. Our expectation is that each one of us will follow protocols to help keep each other healthy. We ask all employees and guests to share in this responsibility and help us, “be the reason we have a season.”
