1/29/21 Conditions Report

10 am Update

Thanks to all the hard work by the Mountain Ops crews, all Chair 2 terrain is now open! Hiking/uphill access will be allowed from the top of Johnson's to access the top of Chair 2 and the Ridgeline. It is important that everyone takes it easy out there as unmarked/marked obstacles do exist, and coverage is variable.

The cats have been hard at work while we slept getting those groomers dialed. Groomed runs will be soft, sweet and feeling like butter! You can still get lucky off-piste [non-groomed] and find some stashes from this weeks storm. Off-piste has filled in nicely throughout this past week, but as always use those first runs as a scouting mission to send it, as conditions vary off the groomed runs.

Chairs 1, 3, 4, the Pika Peak Rope Tow, and the 100LAPS Rope Tow are scheduled for operation from 9 am to 4 pm today with Chair 1, Chair 4, the Pika Peak Rope Tow, and the 100LAPS Rope Tow Scheduled for operation during Night Skiing from 4 pm - 9 pm.

Please make sure to dress appropriately for the conditions and remember that we are asking that everyone use their car as their base camp as there is no inside seating at this time and capacity restrictions are in place for all inside spaces.

It is important that everyone recognizes that this season is different from any we’ve experienced. It is up to every individual, both ski area employee and guest, to do their part to help protect the health and safety of our skiing and snowboarding community. Our expectation is that each one of us will follow protocols to help keep each other healthy. We ask all employees and guests to share in this responsibility and help us, “be the reason we have a season.”
