Skier making a powder turn through some trees

1/31/21 Conditions Report

10 AM Update: I just got in from some turns, and yes, it's a little heavier than we are used to at Mission, but I had a big smile from great turns on Chair 3 over to Tumwater, Hidden Valley, and more. The more adventurous should be able to find fun turns all day. Full-Day tickets are sold out, however, we do have late arrival tickets available. So, if you are looking to get some turns, get your late arrival ticket now while they last, and we'll see you at Noon.

We’ve received 4” of new snow overnight (since 4 pm yesterday) and 5” in the last 24 hours. Temps have warmed up in the Base Area this morning to 33 degrees so look for the new snow to become heavier and wetter as you decend the mountain. We are expecting to be busy again today with everyone enjoying the new snow. We are currently sold out of Full Day tickets and lessons. Full Day tickets will not be sold at the Mountain today. We do anticipate filling up on parking this morning.

Chairs 1, 3, 4, the Pika Peak Rope Tow, and the 100LAPS Rope Tow are scheduled for operation from 9 am to 4 pm today.

Please make sure to dress appropriately for the conditions and remember that we are asking that everyone use their car as their base camp as there is no inside seating at this time and capacity restrictions are in place for all inside spaces.

It is important that everyone recognizes that this season is different from any we’ve experienced. It is up to every individual, both ski area employee and guest, to do their part to help protect the health and safety of our skiing and snowboarding community. Our expectation is that each one of us will follow protocols to help keep each other healthy. We ask all employees and guests to share in this responsibility and help us, “be the reason we have a season.”
