Young skier in powder snow

2/15/2021 Conditions Report

Posted on February 15th, 2021

We are entering the new week with some new snow, 2" overnight 3" in 24 hours bringing our 48 hour total to 9"! With snow expected to continue to fall, expect nice soft powdery turns all day long. The grooming crew has been busy through the night and the freshly fallen flakes will soften those groomed runs up. Off-piste [non-groomed] is still variable but those areas will continue to fill in as the day rolls on. Ill continue doing my snow dance and you can thank me later!

We are sold out of Full-Day Today, 2/15.

Chairs 1, 3, 4, the Pika Peak rope tow, and 100LAPS Rope Tows are scheduled for operation from 9 am to 4 pm.

Please make sure to dress appropriately for the conditions and remember that we are asking that everyone use their car as their base camp as there is no inside seating at this time and capacity restrictions are in place for all inside spaces.

It is important that everyone recognizes that this season is different from any we’ve experienced. It is up to every individual, both ski area employee and guest, to do their part to help protect the health and safety of our skiing and snowboarding community. Our expectation is that each one of us will follow protocols to help keep each other healthy. We ask all employees and guests to share in this responsibility and help us, “be the reason we have a season.”

2/15 - Snow. High near 20. Wind chill values as low as zero. West wind 6 to 11 mph. Chance of precipitation is 100%. Total daytime snow accumulation of 2 to 4 inches possible.

Chair 2 Project Update

The certification inspection for the Wenatchee Express is now complete. The last 3 days were spent reviewing all aspects of the chairlift with Washington State and US Forest Service inspectors. We now have only a few checklist items to complete prior to receiving the certification from the state. The crew has been hard at work today wrapping up these final tasks and finishing touches will continue tomorrow. We look forward to one final update coming soon! As soon as we know with certainty when the Wenatchee Express will open we will communicate that date. This announcement may come quick and at a moment's notice. All Updates
