2/21/2021 Conditions Report

2:15 PM Update: Mother Nature has eased up on the winds up top and we have opened The Wenatchee Express (Chair 2).

10 AM Update: Chair 2 is still on wind hold, it will open when conditions permit. The snow has picked up and there are some nice pockets of powder on the groomed runs and off-piste (non-groomed) was variable with pockets of powder to firmer spots. Look for the groomers to become more variable as the day goes on and the wind blows around deposits. It's supposed to warm up today, but it's currently gusty and a little chilly towards the top of chair 3, so make sure to bring some layers and be prepared. The wind is now forecasted to remain strong at the top of the mountain, so we've pulled the chairs off the line for now of Chair 2.

The good news is there is a storm blowing in and we appear to be right in its sights, and hopefully it will deliver some new snow for us throughout the week. We are seeing high winds at the summit with gusts consistently in the 70s, so Chair 2 will likely start the day on hold and we will open the chair when conditions permit. The temps will rise today, so look for the groomers to be softer as the day goes on.

2/21/21 - All Full Day (9 am to 4 pm) tickets are SOLD OUT for Sunday, 2/21. Limited Late Arrival (12pm-4pm) tickets are still available.

All Chairs as well as the Pika Peak rope tow, and 100LAPS Rope Tows are scheduled for operation from 9 am to 4 pm. *Chair 2 will likely start the day on hold and we will open the chair when conditions permit.

Please make sure to dress appropriately for the conditions and remember that we are asking that everyone use their car as their base camp as there is limited seating inside and capacity restrictions are in place for all inside spaces.

It is important that everyone recognizes that this season is different from any we’ve experienced. It is up to every individual, both ski area employee and guest, to do their part to help protect the health and safety of our skiing and snowboarding community. Our expectation is that each one of us will follow protocols to help keep each other healthy. We ask all employees and guests to share in this responsibility and help us, “be the reason we have a season.”
