8:30am Update

It’s still breezy across the mountain but the winds have calmed enough that we are looking to open with all normally scheduled chairs (Chair 1, The Wenatchee Express, and Chair 3) in operation from 9 am to 4 pm today, conditions permitting. The Pika Peak Rope Tow will also be open as usual today. Chair 4 is not scheduled for operations on Monday or Tuesday this week and the 100LAPS Rope Tow will be closed for a rope repair but the park is open for hiking and access via Chiar 1.

Please make sure to dress appropriately for the conditions and remember that we are asking that everyone use their car as their base camp as there is limited seating inside and capacity restrictions are in place for all inside spaces.

6:30am Update

High winds continued through the night and into the morning. We are keeping a close eye on things as the morning progresses. It is likely that winds will have an impact on operations today. The Wenatchee Express may start the day on wind hold if the conditions do not change drastically in that event we will look to start the day with Chairs 1, 3, 4 and Pike Peak Rope Tow in operation, conditions permitting. The 100Laps Rope Tow will be closed today for repair on the rope.

We have received a small amount (pproximately an inch) of new snow that has been blown around by the winds. Expect some areas scoured and others to have a deposit.

Please make sure to dress appropriately for the conditions and remember that we are asking that everyone use their car as their base camp as there is limited seating inside and capacity restrictions are in place for all inside spaces.

It is important that everyone recognizes that this season is different from any we’ve experienced. It is up to every individual, both ski area employee and guest, to do their part to help protect the health and safety of our skiing and snowboarding community. Our expectation is that each one of us will follow protocols to help keep each other healthy. We ask all employees and guests to share in this responsibility and help us, “be the reason we have a season.”
