2/26/2021 Conditions Report

10 AM Update: What an epic morning! The sun came out, the winds have been calm, and the powder is dry. The groomers were smooth and silky and the off-piste was off the charts. Look for the steeper off-piste areas to get more variable as the day goes on but the mountain should be riding/skiing good all day and night with the lower temps and forecasted snow for later.

POW Town population you! We received 6" of that beautiful Mission Ridge powder overnight and we are looking forward to an excellent day on the mountain. Expect PM groomers to have a nice blanket of snow and AM groomers to be soft and silky as the snow has been coming down heavy since midnight. Off-piste [non-groomed] runs will be nice and deep from top to bottom. We are expecting winds throughout the day between 20 and 30 mph with gusts in the upper 40s. Click in to your fat planks and have a great day floating around the mountain!

All Chairs as well as the Pika Peak rope tow are scheduled for operation from 9 am to 4 pm. Chair 1, 4 and the Pika Peak rope tow are scheduled for night skiing from 4pm-9pm. The 100Laps rope tow will be closed to start the day and we hope to have it open at noon.

Please make sure to dress appropriately for the conditions and remember that we are asking that everyone use their car as their base camp as there is limited seating inside and capacity restrictions are in place for all inside spaces.

It is important that everyone recognizes that this season is different from any we’ve experienced. It is up to every individual, both ski area employee and guest, to do their part to help protect the health and safety of our skiing and snowboarding community. Our expectation is that each one of us will follow protocols to help keep each other healthy. We ask all employees and guests to share in this responsibility and help us, “be the reason we have a season.”
