2/6/21 Conditions Report

Posted on February 6th, 2021

Update: 1:15 PM - Chair 3 will be closed for the remainder of the day due to a power supply issue. We anticipate that Chair 3 will re-open tomorrow as scheduled.

The weekend is here and we are looking forward to making some turns and the potential for some fresh snow as well today. The forecast is calling for the potential of high winds at times today so make sure to layer up appropriately for the conditions. The groomed runs will be the place to play today with softer surface conditions up top transitioning to firmer conditions near Midway and the Base Area. Surface conditions will become more variable over the course of the day depending on temperature and new snowfall.

Full Day Tickets are SOLD OUT for 2/6. Late Arrival and Night tickets are still available. Mission Ridge Premier & Twilight Passes are valid today and do not require reservations.

Chairs 1, 3, 4, the Pika Peak rope tow, and 100LAPS Rope Tows are scheduled for operation from 9 am to 4 pm with Chair 1, Chair 4, the Pika Peak, and 100LAPS Rope Tows scheduled for operation during Night Skiing from 4 pm - 9 pm.

Please make sure to dress appropriately for the conditions and remember that we are asking that everyone use their car as their base camp as there is no inside seating at this time and capacity restrictions are in place for all inside spaces.

It is important that everyone recognizes that this season is different from any we’ve experienced. It is up to every individual, both ski area employee and guest, to do their part to help protect the health and safety of our skiing and snowboarding community. Our expectation is that each one of us will follow protocols to help keep each other healthy. We ask all employees and guests to share in this responsibility and help us, “be the reason we have a season.”

2/6 - A 50 percent chance of snow. Partly sunny, with a high near 38. Windy, with a west wind 24 to 34 mph, with gusts as high as 55 mph. Total daytime snow accumulation of 1 to 2 inches possible.
