Snowboarder on groomed run with sun behind

3/1/2021 Conditions Report

Posted on March 1st, 2021

9:30 am Update

It is a stunning morning on the mountain. A run down Bomber Bowl off of the Wenatchee Express has me ready for many more! Groomed runs are in top shape. Off-piste (non-groomed) conditions are variable but there are still pockets of softer snow out there to be found. Surfaces that get the most sun will soften up over the course of the morning. Follow the sun across the mountain to find the best turns.

Early Morning Report

We are looking forward to another excellent day on the mountain. Starting the morning expect excellent groomed runs around the mountain, off-piste [non-groomed] terrain will be more variable. Ski with feelers out on your first few laps to help your feet get an understanding for the days conditions. With a high of 42 for the base area, we plan on more spring like conditions on lower mountain runs, with temps a bit cooler up top expect runs to vary from the top down.

Chair 1, Wenatchee Express, Chair 3, the Pika Peak and 100LAPS rope tows scheduled for operation from 9am-4pm. Chair 4 does not operate Monday-Thursday.

Please make sure to dress appropriately for the conditions and remember that we are asking that everyone use their car as their base camp as there is limited seating inside and capacity restrictions are in place for all inside spaces.

It is important that everyone recognizes that this season is different from any we’ve experienced. It is up to every individual, both ski area employee and guest, to do their part to help protect the health and safety of our skiing and snowboarding community. Our expectation is that each one of us will follow protocols to help keep each other healthy. We ask all employees and guests to share in this responsibility and help us, “be the reason we have a season.”

3/1 - Mostly cloudy, with a high near 32. West wind around 9 mph.
