3/2/21 Conditions Report

Posted on March 2nd, 2021

9 am Report

Contrary to the forecast, clouds have blown in this morning and we are sitting under cloudy skies. While at least for now we won't see as much sun as expected, the cloud cover will keep surfaces more consistent over the course of the morning. An early morning run down Skookum was fast and firm but not too firm. AM groomed runs are softer and hold a better edge. Conditions will vary today based on whether or not we see more of the sun.

See you on the mountain!

Early Morning Report

Another beautiful morning on the mountain should be followed up by a spectacular day on the slopes. The high temperatures today will range between 30 degrees at the summit and 40 degrees in the Base Area. Look for surface conditions to become more variable over the course of the day with firmer surfaces in the morning and softer, spring-like conditions in the afternoon. Follow the sun across the mountain this morning from Bomber Bowl on the skiers left to Skookum on skiers right of the mountains for the best turns.

Please make sure to dress appropriately for the conditions and remember that we are asking that everyone use their car as their base camp as there is limited seating inside and capacity restrictions are in place for all inside spaces.

It is important that everyone recognizes that this season is different from any we’ve experienced. It is up to every individual, both ski area employee and guest, to do their part to help protect the health and safety of our skiing and snowboarding community. Our expectation is that each one of us will follow protocols to help keep each other healthy. We ask all employees and guests to share in this responsibility and help us, “be the reason we have a season.”
