March delivers again! New, wet snow is coming down around the mountain and stacking up quickly! This morning's first turns were soft and smooth as the new snow softens the surfaces below. The forecast is for more snow to fall through the day with comfortable temperatures making for a day of stormy, Spring skiing.
This morning's sunshine is starting to soften everything it touches. The views are out and the groomed runs are skiing fast, while off the groomers, the snow is firm with thin coverage in places. Look for runs in the sun to soften while things stay firm and fast in the shade. Tomorrow's forecast calls for the chance for new snow, so get out in the sunshine today and soak up some vitamin D.
The sun is shining and the groomed runs are skiing fast! During our first laps this morning, the best turns were found in the sun as it starts to soften the snow.  Off the groomers, the snow is  firm but expected to soften for soft, Spring turns as temperatures rise through the day.
Sunny slopes and blue skies were served up for our first runs this morning! The grooming team did an excellent job of turning yesterday's fresh snow in to immaculate and soft groomed runs, while off the groomers, the snow remains soft with areas of thin coverage. Bring your sunny lenses and sunscreen for a Sunday-Funday of exploring the mountain with friends and family!
With the new snow and super mellow crowds, it's just one of those days at Mission Ridge-magnificent! The new snow is on the heavier side, but super fun nonetheless. There is plenty of untracked snow to go around, plus it's still coming down. Most runs (groomed and ungroomed) are covered in the snow we received this morning, making for playful turns.
Adventure is out there and you should be too! The clouds are high in the sky which means we still have great views of the Wenatchee Valley. The groomed runs on Chair 3 are skiing especially well this morning, but you can find carveable, fun snow on the groomers across the mountain. On the ungroomed runs you will find variable snow ranging from hard pack to softer spring-like snow. Come on out to enjoy some spring turns before the potential return of winter tonight!
