Women's Mid-Winter Mid-Week Escape

Coaching specifically designed for women ages 16 and up. Dates: January 15th & 29th, February 12th & 26th. 9:00-1:00. $55 for coaching and lunch.

CADET PROGRAM

(Formerly TA's)

Learn on the job - working directly with certified instructors for half the day and spend the rest of the day with coaches to work on skill development for the other half of the day. Technical Directors work with each Cadet to help them earn their own Instructor Certification. Cadets receive a Seasons Pass & Uniform Jacket! This program begins the first weekend in December and runs until the last weekend in February.

Ski P.E.

Many educators use this mid-week program to explore and educate their students about the winter environment, land use and recreational partnerships as well as winter recreation. The program is also designed with a cirriculum appropriate for multi day lessons and PE credit. This special program is designed specifically for schools and home school groups. Cost is $25.00 per student

Includes a 2 hour lesson, lift ticket, and rental gear for the day.

Schools must have at least 20 students to participate.
Times: 10am-noon or 1pm-3pm

Ski P.E. - Consecutive

This mid-week program is designed for multi-day lessons and P.E. credit. Contact the SnowSports Center at (509) 663-6543 to setup your program.

Backstage Pass Program:

Explore the snow sports industry: $25 per person

Learn what its like to instruct by taking a lesson, teaching is an awesome career. Whether you are interested in education or instructing of any kind, this program begins with teaching skiing or snowboarding. No matter what level you are there are opportunities to grow and also learn skills that might lead you to a fun job! The ski industry is a great way to earn money in the winter, while you go to school and as a part-time or full time job after graduation. In the course of your two-hour lesson, you will also learn about the departments that operate a ski resort. Tour the rental shop, ski patrol, grooming department, food and beverage and ticketing. You will spend two hours with our professionals exploring the opportunities in the ski industry and also getting valuable feedback as to your own skiing or snowboarding skills. If you have never had the opportunity to ski or snowboard this is a great chance to learn and expand your horizons. Who knows perhaps you have a career as a skiing or snowboarding professional.

Must be a group of 15 or more arranged through a school on a mid-week day. This is a learning and educational opportunity not available to the general public.

The fee includes instructional feedback on personal skills, equipment rental, and lift ticket. Your opportunity to grow in the ski industry as a professional is FREE.
