The wait is almost over, and we’re excited to get back on the mountain tomorrow! Spring is in full effect, and we are looking forward to a stunner this weekend. With temps forecast to hover near 4o degrees at the summit and 50 degrees in the Base Area, corn harvesting season is here. With those spring conditions, we are seeing the expected transition of the mountain from winter to summer mode. Expect low coverage in places and potential terrain closures this weekend. Our crew is doing an amazing job putting things together for a fun weekend, but it’s important to remember that the operative word in the spring is VARIABLE. Snow conditions will start the day on the firm side and soften as the day progresses. Conditions will become more variable as the sun hits surfaces and temperatures rise. In the afternoon, expect the reverse effect as shade covers runs and things start to firm up again.
This weekend we welcome current 24/25 Mission Ridge Passholders to enjoy a free Thank You BBQ lunch from 12pm-1pm on the Hampton Lodge deck Saturday. On Sunday, we will host an Easter Breakfast as well as an Easter Egg Hunt for the kids!
