11/4/25 Conditions Report

WE ARE LIVE.

The MRSM team stood by on Saturday, waiting eagerly for temps to drop. The summit thermometer dipped around 10:30am on Saturday, and the crew immediately got the Sunspot guns fired up. Nature was not having it, however, and out came the sun to quickly force a pause on production. Not to be defeated, the team seized another opening as evening set in. The Sunday night crew put down some great production and put Tumwater 2 in play, before Monday’s daytime crew labored through a blustery storm with guns running all day and all night.

Yesterday evening and into the night, nature gave us a boost with a couple inches at the base overnight and significantly more up top.

Today, we’ve seen temps hovering right around freezing with a couple of flurries. We’ve got an active forecast heading into the latter half of the week, with borderline temperatures. We’re likely to see some new snow accumulation on the upper mountain, but rain in the Base Area. The MRSM team, as always, will be standing at the ready to fire up the guns during every window of opportunity.
