We’re excited to announce that the 2025/26 winter season will officially begin on Thursday, December 4th! After an unseasonably warm and rainy November, the recent stretch of sustained cold temperatures has allowed our snowmaking and grooming teams to make tremendous progress across the mountain. Thanks to our top-to-bottom snowmaking system and the incredible effort from our world-class crew, we are on track to be the first ski area to open in Washington this season.
We’ll be starting things off with a limited opening on Chair 1, The Wenatchee Express (Chair 2), and the Pika Peak Rope Tow, all operating from 9am to 4pm Thursday through Sunday. Terrain will be limited to Sunspot, Tumwater, Mimi, and the Pika Peak beginner’s area as we continue to build coverage across the mountain.
Seeing our teams rally over the past several days has been nothing short of inspiring. Snowmaking, grooming, vehicle maintenance—every department has been working around the clock to take advantage of every single cold window. Opening on Thursday is a testament to their grit, teamwork, and dedication to giving our community the chance to ski and ride as early as possible.
After a difficult November, the recent progress has been incredible. This past week highlighted the very best of what makes Mission Ridge special. Snowmaking windows were short, but our crew maximized every one of them, and every department pushed hard to bring the mountain to life. While early-season terrain will be limited, the excitement is high—and we’re ready to welcome everyone back to the mountain.
As always, we encourage everyone to ease into the season and ski and ride with care. Early-season conditions exist, and some areas will have thin coverage. Please follow Your Responsibility Code and stay on open, designated terrain.

All primary services will be open throughout Opening Weekend:
- Chair 5 Pub & Ka Wham Café: 8am–4:30pm
- Midway Lodge: 10am–2pm Thursday/Friday (10am–3pm Saturday/Sunday)
- Season Pass & Ticket Office: Open 8am
- Rentals, Retail, Snowsports School: Open 8am
Early-Season Lift Ticket Pricing
Lift ticket prices will be discounted to $85 for ages 25-69, $75 for ages 18-24, $55 for ages 13-17, $45 for ages 8-12, $9 for ages 7 & under, and $29 for ages 70+ for tickets purchased in advance and online to reflect the limited opening of chairlifts and terrain.
Firefighter & Emergency Personnel Appreciation
We are proud to once again honor local heroes through our Firefighter & Emergency Personnel Appreciation Program, offering free skiing and riding from Opening Day through Sunday, December 14th for Firefighters, EMTs, Law Enforcement professionals, and 2025 seasonal personnel.
