1/28/26 Conditions Report

10:00 Conditions Update:

We’re cruising under mostly sunny skies this morning with some wispy clouds flitting about the summit. The groomed runs are in smooth condition once again, perfect for making some predictable turns and digging an edge into the mid-firm surface. Slopes are wide open with hardly a soul in sight at the moment, so you can expect conditions to stay fresh well into the afternoon. Temps are in the 20s above Midway and low 30s below, making for some cool but comfortable turns. As they day progresses, we can expect to see some clouds potentially moving in as a weak storm moves in overnight. If you aren’t already up here, come join us for another great day of skiing and riding, or hop up this evening to enjoy night skiing and Trivia Night at the Ka-Wham Cafe.

6:30 Conditions Report:

I’m trying not to get ahead of myself here but I saw a few flakes coming down on my drive up and it’s getting me excited. We’re set to accumulate some snow over the next few days as a weak storm system moves over the mountain. While it’s supposed to snow throughout the day today, we are expected to get most of the snow overnight.

Anticipate conditions similar to yesterday and enjoy the techy surfaces before the refresh. We might still see some sun on the slopes, but we are forecast to have snowfall resume in the afternoon. Temps should stay in that comfortable range as throughout the day and into Night Skiing tonight. Expect snow surfaces to start the day firm and remain firm throughout the day.

Cap off your laps with Trivia on Tap today in partnership with Timberline Brewing at KaWham Cafe! We’ll be pouring beers for you and 4 of your (21 and up) buddies from 6:30pm-7:30pm.

See you on the mountain!
