2/22/26 Conditions Report

9:45 Conditions Update:

Smooth & surfy conditions are delighting us this morning, with around an inch of new snow atop the groomers making for some excellent riding. Vibes are high on the mountain, as snow surfaces are conducive to hard carving or playful riding alike, just soft enough to feel bouncy but with a supportive groomed surface underneath to dig an edge into. It’s tracking out quick, so come up quick to get the goods! Ungroomed areas have a layer of new snow atop generally firm surfaces below. There are some softer spots still out there but they require some exploration to access. Snowfall is letting up for now, but fortunately additional waves or flurries could arrive throughout the day to provide some refreshes. Visibility is clearing up at the moment, although that too could plunge back into fog on short notice as the weather system continues to move through the region. It’s gonna be a great day up here!

8:00 Conditions Update:

It’s a winter wonderland out there! The sky is thick with snow, and we have already managed to accumulate about half an inch of white since morning arrivals at 6am. It’s coming down pretty good, the kind of snowfall that dampens sound. We’re shaping up to have a really sweet start to the day.

6:30 Conditions Report:

Good morning skiers!

I was delighted to see a few flakes flitting past the webcams this morning. We received some snow yesterday, leaving a trace on top of the pack overnight and we are forecast to collect some more throughout the day today. It seems like that collection has started already this morning as big light snowflakes were falling on my head earlier. Last night, snow fell in a very smooth and airy layer which should groom down into a buttery surfaces to slide on. With our subtle natural refreshes over the past few days, and the snowmaking currently going on, anticipate softer, smoother snow to start the day with that snowfall coming down to hopefully keep it fresh and fun as we ski it out. We should have comfortable temperatures across the mountain with a breeze at the summit that might start transporting snow, but right now by the looks of it, the flakes are coming pretty well straight down. There’s lots of fun stuff out there and freshies to be had!

See you on the mountain!
