The 2nd annual Claim the Cliffs IFSA Junior 2* Freeride Competition returns to Mission Ridge on Saturday, March 21, 2026*. Open to IFSA-registered junior athletes, this event hosts some of the best young skiers and boarders on the mountain! This year’s competition is open to men and women skiers in the U12, U15, and U19 categories as well as men and women snowboarders in the U15 and U19 categories. Due to rapidly changing snow conditions this season, our venue is still TBD, options include the Bomber Cliffs, Nertz, and Castle Peak. 

*Sunday, March 22, 2026, will be held as a weather day should conditions require it.

Registration

Registration and additional info will be available on the IFSA website. Cost is $100 per athlete.

Check-In Details

We will be hosting an early check-in for athletes and coaches on Friday, March 20, 2026, at Timberline Brewing from 6:00 PM – 8:00 PM. Pick up your credentials and enjoy some of the best pizza in the Wenatchee Valley on Friday night to save you time Saturday morning. 

Saturday, March 21st, check-in will be outside the Hampton Lodge, under the deck from 7:00-8:00 AM. 

Mandatory Athlete & Coaches Meeting

We are working on creating a WhatsApp group to be able to hold the mandatory athlete and coaches meeting on Friday evening, saving us time on Saturday morning. All registered athletes and coaches will receive an email with additional information on this meeting approximately one week before the event.
