Turn last season’s gear into next season’s setup.

Winter’s close enough now to start planning for it. On Saturday, October 17, the Base Area fills up with skis, snowboards, boots, and everything that goes with them for the Tamarack Festival Gear Swap, running 2:00 to 6:00 PM.

Buyers don’t need to do a thing but show up. Walk the tables, dig through what people are letting go of, and find something new-to-you for the winter ahead.

Selling takes one step first. A vendor spot is $10, and you keep 100% of what you sell. Vendor check-in runs 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM, and all vendors need to be checked in before 1:00.

Skis, snowboards, boots, bindings, helmets, goggles, outerwear, gloves, poles, snowshoes, and camping gear are all welcome, and bikes are too. Broken, recalled, or worn-out gear isn’t, and event staff can turn away any item.

The Gear Swap lands on the final Saturday of Tamarack Festival, so there’s plenty happening around it: guided hikes, face painting in the Base Area from 3:00 to 5:00 PM, live music at the Chair 5 Pub, and the Rental Shop open with limited services.
