Ski and snowboard tracks over freshly groomed snow

3/2/26 Conditions Report

9:30am Conditions Update:

It’s clear, calm, and fairly mild out there this morning, with some great skiing and riding to be had above those bright valley views! Pistes are still pretty smooth and crisp for now with good edge hold, but we’ll probably see them moving toward soft, heavy snow as the midday sun takes hold. Seek out the first signs of softening in sunlit areas like the Fun Park and Mimi, or if you’re looking to keep riding dry groomers for as long as possible, shady spots will be your best bet. It’s still chilly enough to want a jacket, but if you’re riding hard, you might want a shed a layer today and bask in that sunlight! We’ll see you up here.

6:30am Conditions Report

A taste of spring is on the menu this morning, with full sun and balmy temps in the forecast! Our snowpack should follow a typical spring-like trajectory, with crisp early-morning groomers giving way to soft, wettish snow by late morning or early afternoon. Temps are currently hovering right around freezing at all elevations, but as the sun rises higher, we will likely see the thermometer crest into the 40s at all elevations. Get here early if you’re looking to carve up some smooth arcs on a clean slate, or come for the afternoon to harvest some dense corn under brilliant blue skies.

If you head off the groomed runs, we’ll have a range of variable conditions out there. High-trafficked areas will start the day firm, especially if they’ve received some sun over the past few days. However, areas that get sun today will likely start softening and could end the afternoon with some soft and forgiving corn bumps. If you venture further afield, there are also areas of chalky snow and even a few stashes of dense settled powder still out there to find. If you head off-piste, remember that areas of thin cover exist – ride with caution as always!

We’ll see you on the mountain for a great bluebird day!
