10/31/25 Conditions Report

Happy Halloween! There’s nothing spooky about the end of October up here at The Ridge: we’re just stoked for winter looming on the horizon, snowmaking coming up ASAP, and our 10th annual Pray for Snow concert tomorrow!

As soon as the clock strikes midnight, we’ll be able to start snowmaking, and our team is absolutely raring to go. With four snow guns added to the fleet this winter, we can pile up the good stuff more efficiently than ever. Temperatures are looking borderline to start the weekend, but the team is primed to get those guns firing as soon as any part of the mountain sees the thermometer drop. We’re ready to give them a boost by sending up some prayers for cold temps at tomorrow’s Pray for Snow concert! The 10th edition of the event is more exciting than ever, bringing winter stoke right to the heart of downtown Wenatchee with headliners Pizza Party and Free Rain! Get your tickets online to save ten bucks.

Up here on the mountain, that fall-winter transitional scenery is looking as beautiful as ever, with the tamaracks holding on to some rusty color and snow blanketing most of the sheltered slopes above the Base Area. If you’re thinking of visiting, however, please be aware that we’re moving into our wintertime Uphill Policy starting on November 1st at 12:00am due to snowmaking operations kicking off. Be sure to monitor our Uphill Policy page closely if you will be engaging in uphill travel this winter, as the policy is subject to change at any time.

Uphill Policy

Modified Uphill Policy will take effect starting at 12:00AM on 11/1/2025.
