3/25/26 Conditions Report

10:00 Conditions Update:

Skies have cleared up and the sun is shining brightly over the mountain this morning as we enjoy our first turns of the day. Snow surfaces are mostly firm, with crisp, buzzy corduroy on Sunspot and Tumwater. Lower down, we’re seeing the first hints of softening in sunlit areas, with much of Mimi hosting a thin corn layer atop a firm base. Keep in mind that areas of variable coverage exist, especially on the lower mountain. If you find any ungroomed spots on the edge of runs, be ready for a chattery ride. Temps are mild lower down, but up top it’s a bit chilly with a steady breeze blowing in from the west and temps in the 20s. It’s a beautiful day, and we will see you on the mountain!

:30 Conditions Report:

Good morning skiers & riders!

Flurries are in the air this morning, as we’ve seen temps dropping back below freezing across all elevations overnight. Currently we’re sitting right around the freezing mark in the Base Area, while temps are in the low 20s up top. After yesterday’s warmup, today should remain in line with seasonal norms, with highs in the 20s up top while the lower mountain will crest above freezing.

The light snowfall we’re seeing at the moment has not produced any measurable accumulation, but it’s still nice to have in the air. This afternoon, we’ll see an increasing chance of snow showers, with up to an inch of accumulation possible at the summit. Otherwise, we’ll be riding under partly sunny skies.

Snow surfaces will be firm today, after yesterday’s warmth and rain froze up overnight. The grooming team has worked to lay down some crisp cords, while anything ungroomed is very firm and chattery. A spring conditions cycle could potentially develop on the lower mountain if the sun makes an appearance today, softening groomed surfaces, but up top we can expect conditions to stay crisp and firm.

Winds have abated a bit since yesterday, but we retain a stout breeze out of the west, with sustained winds in the 20s forecasted in exposed areas at the summit today, with gusts up to 45.

Today’s scheduled runs include Sunspot, Tumwater, Mimi, Lower Sitkum, & Lower Chak Chak, along with 100Laps and Lil Bombers parks.  We’ll see you on the mountain!
