3:30 Conditions Report:
Day 1 of 2026 has brought us light snowfall throughout the day that’s summed to around an inch above Midway & a solid dusting in the Base Area. This is keeping conditions fun & fresh, but variable, as we head into Night Skiing! Groomed surfaces have been skied off throughout the day but there’s a good bit of soft stuff kicking around on top to play around in which should make for some lively riding tonight.
Temps are hovering in the upper 20s across the mountain and lighting has generally flat as the weather system moves through. With the combination of variable conditions, lower light, and possible fog, remember to ride with caution – as always – and that Chair 2 has no easy way down, especially at night. Areas of thin cover cold exist across the mountain but will be especially prevalent on areas that did not receive snowmaking, such as the parts of Lip Lip & Tower 10 that are accessible for night riding. Your smoothest ride will be found on Sunspot, Tumwater, & Mimi this evening. We’ll be open to 9pm so you can get some extra laps in to start the New Year off on the right foot!
