4:00pm Conditions Report:Â
A sunny day is headed toward a clear evening, and we’re getting ready for another night of night skiing once again! We’ll see temps start dropping off as the sun heads toward that western horizon. Snow surfaces are variable right now, with a few areas having softened up throughout the day while others have stayed firm. Currently it’s above freezing with temps in the 30s and 40s, but as it cools off, conditions all across the mountain will firm up. In trafficked areas on steeper pitches, there will be areas of very firm hardpack, and off-piste areas will also get quite chattery. With mostly clear skies, it could be an awesome sunset tonight, and the inversion layer of clouds sitting in the valley below will also add to the scenic evening spectacle. We will have Chair 1, the Ottobahn Carpet, and the Pika Peak Rope Tow scheduled for operation until 9pm tonight and Chair 2 scheduled until 8:30pm. We’ll see you on the mountain!

Early season conditions exist and limited terrain will be open. Low coverage in places with marked and unmarked obstacles. Please stay on open runs and respect all rope lines/trail closures as they are there for your safety.
Snowmaking operations will continue whenever possible to expand terrain and improve coverage. This may include:
