Early Morning Report:Â Another cold, crisp, and clear morning is here. We enjoyed some absolutely wonderful conditions yesterday and are looking forward to more of the same today. Surface conditions on the groomed runs will be soft and smooth for runs groomed on the AM shift (after midnight) and a little firmer but very edgable on PM groomed runs (Before midnight) For the full grooming report CLICK HERE. There are still some really good pockets of powder off-piste (non-groomed runs), but remember that early-season conditions still exist with low coverage. Some areas off the groomed runs will look more covered than they are. Also, make sure to layer up, keep all skin covered, and always ski and ride with a partner.
The month of January is dedicated to promoting skier and rider responsibility and mountain safety. Resorts across the country participate every year to educate skiers and snowboarders about being safe and using common sense on the slopes. Make sure you know the Responsibility Code to help everyone have the best day out on the mountain.
