9:45am Update: After a beautiful sunrise, we made some turns on Chair 4 first thing this morning. Turns on the groomed runs are firm but still hold an edge and should soften quickly as the morning progresses. Chairs 2 and 3 are planned to open at 10am. Please read the Early Morning Report below for the rest of the updates on operations today.
Early Morning Report: Yesterday, we experienced an inbounds avalanche on the run Nertz, which is accessed from Chair 2. All parties in the area at the time were accounted for. We took measures to close down terrain and chairlifts to assess conditions and perform avalanche mitigation work in a variety of locations on the upper mountain.
For today, warm temperatures have maintained overnight and are forecast to continue through the week. Open terrain will be limited, and limited grooming occurred today due to these warm temperatures. Conditions will be variable across the mountain and range from soft, wet snow to areas of firm snow and low coverage. Designated groomed runs will be the place to stay today due to conditions off-piste. There is a potential for delayed chair openings as our teams prepare the mountain this morning and Ski Patrol performs avalanche mitigation work. Terrain and access may remain limited this week as this warm front moves through and until the snowpack stabilizes.

The month of January is dedicated to promoting skier and rider responsibility and mountain safety. Resorts across the country participate every year to educate skiers and snowboarders about being safe and using common sense on the slopes. Make sure you know the Responsibility Code to help everyone have the best day out on the mountain.
