Ski and snowboard tracks over freshly groomed snow

1/30/26 Night Conditions Report

7:40pm Operations Update:

Chair 2 is currently on hold due to high winds. We will continue to update regarding the status of Chair 2 for the remainder of the night.

4:00pm Conditions Report:

Flurries are in the air at the summit as we experience rain showers lower down tonight. For night skiing, we have variable conditions that are strongly dependent on elevation. Up top, we have gotten a dusting of new snow over the last hour or so that is providing a bit of soft snow atop otherwise surfaces that are otherwise mainly firm. Hopefully this can continue to freshen things up a bit – we will have intermittent precipitation for the next hour or so before it likely tapers off. Lower down, we have a mixture of firm surfaces and soft, wet ones, with conditions generally trending softer and wetter as we descend.

Please note that Chair 4 is open to mid-station only during Night Skiing. All riders must unload at mid-station. Although Chair 4 is now open to the top from 9am-4pm, Castle does not have lights, so the upper terrain closes at 4pm.

Tonight is also our first night of Friday Night Bingo at Midway! Starting at 5:30, join us for a night of fun with some sweet prizes on the line! We’ll see you up here.
