Ski and snowboard tracks over freshly groomed snow

1/31/26 Night Conditions Report

4:00pm Conditions Report:

We have spring-like conditions heading into the late afternoon, with temps around 40 on the lower mountain and in the mid-30s up higher. Loose snow has gotten soft, wet, and heavy, making for slower-but-more-forgiving conditions. As the night progresses, temps will gradually drop and snow surfaces will trend firmer. Expect variable conditions on the mountain as that transition occurs, with snow moving from slushy toward chattery. We’re currently sandwiched above the valley clouds and below the overhead ones, resulting in good visibility on the mountain. This is likely to continue into the evening with modest winds at the summit and temps dropping back into the 30s.

We also have an exciting night of indoor activities in the Hampton Lodge, highlighted by Mountain Music with Buzz Bump kicking off at 6:30! Come join us for dinner, drinks, and a good time. Stop in between runs or hit the Pub after a day out on the slopes. At the Chair 5 Pub, we’re serving up our weekly dinner special – this week it’s a delicious Hunter’s Chicken dish curated by Chef Rey. We’ll see you on the mountain!
