Ski and snowboard tracks over freshly groomed snow

1/7/26 Night Conditions Report

4:00pm Conditions Report:

Flakes are in the air as we head into night skiing! We’ve enjoyed an awesome day on the mountain highlighted by 3 inches of snow since yesterday & Chair 4 making its debut for the 25/26 season. Tonight, we’re hoping that snow total can inch its way up a little further while Chair 4 continues to spin for its first night of the year. We can expect varied conditions across the mountain with cold, dry snow surfaces. Well-trafficked areas will have some firm, scraped off surfaces while the sides of runs and out-of-the-way stashes will hold onto some of the soft snow we’ve gotten over the past couple days. Our current snow showers may continue but will decrease in likelihood as the night deepens. Right now, it’s coming down pretty good though and could be enough to provide a little bonus softness. It’s also gonna be on the chillier side, with wind chills flirting with the zero degree mark at the summit. It’ll be a bit more sheltered and warmer lower down, but we still recommend dressing warm and popping into a warm lodge as needed. While we’re super stoked to have Chair 4 available for night riding, keep in mind that – like many other areas of the mountain – it still has early-season conditions and areas of thin cover. Chair 4 terrain and Chair 2 terrain are suitable for advanced skiers and riders only, especially at night. Fortunately, we’ll be spinning Chair 1, the Ottobahn Carpet, and the Pika Peak Rope Tow to provide something for everyone! We’ll see you on the mountain anytime before 9pm!
