Two skiers in a storm making turns on the Tumwater run at Mission Ridge.

1/8 Conditions Report

9:45am Update: The groomed runs are already starting to get a little fresh snow build-up as the coming storm’s front edge hits us. The Grooming Crew did another wonderful job buffing things out for us this morning. We’re enjoying great turns, especially on those rune groomed on the AM shift (groomed after midnight last night).  The full grooming report can be found HERE. Visibility is moderate, but we are hoping to have full-on storm ski conditions as the day progresses. Look for conditions to become more variable over the course of the day as the new snow stacks up. A chill is in the air, so dress for success and get out there for a great time!

Early Morning Report: The start of a new week is here, and a new forecast is calling for a significant amount of new snow. As of 6am, light snow is falling in the Base Area, and we are forecast to receive 2″ to 4″ over the course of the day today, with another 4″ to 8″ forecast for this evening! The upper end of the week-long forecast suggests that close to two feet of new snow is possible to hit The Ridge. Temperatures have stayed on the cooler side, so bundle up to enjoy so nice groomed turns this morning as the storm arrives. The softest turns will be found on the AM groomed runs (groomed after midnight last night).

*Early season conditions exist. Low coverage in places. Please stay on open runs and respect all rope lines/trail closures, as they are there for your safety.
