1/9/26 Night Conditions Report

4:00pm Conditions Report:

The Friday Night Lights will be turning on any minute now as we get ready for another 5 hours of skiing and riding at The Ridge. Come up and join us if you’re just getting off from work or school – you don’t want to miss out on these incredible views and some great turns. We have variable conditions on the mountain after a day of skis and boards carved up the piste, which has pushed up uneven snow surfaces in places. Temps stayed cold today on the upper mountain, which resulted in the snow preserving its light, dry quality atop a firmer base. Below Midway, temps have climbed above freezing throughout the day, which has made the snowpack a little bit denser. Off-piste, most areas accessible for night skiing have been tracked out by now, resulting in a mixture of residual soft conditions, firmer windswept base, and areas of low cover. Tonight we are ushering in the weekend with temps in the upper 20s and light to moderate wind speeds. Currently we have a clear view into the valley with just a little sunlight hitting the west-facing slopes in East Wenatchee: a dramatic sunset as is the norm here. Come drink in the valley lights with us from up on The Ridge tonight!
