10/25/25 Mountain Report

Another round of October snowfall has us in high spirits, with a couple inches of new snow in the Base Area and the possibility for additional showers tonight and tomorrow! Intermittent mixed precipitation transitioned to snow early this morning, and a period of intense snowfall just before noon has coated the golden larches and stately evergreens with a fresh coat of white. On the upper mountain, this new snow adds to the residual base left over from last week’s dump. The magic of the mountain is alive here on the last day of Tamarack Festival, with the striking colors of fall softened by the peaceful early-season snowfall.

The forecast is looking good, and we have a chance at a few additional inches before the weekend is out. Plus, we’re only one week away from the start of snowmaking. Our team is primed and ready to give Mother Nature a bonus boost. Winter is truly upon us.
