Due to unseasonably warm and rainy November weather, we will not open for skiing and snowboarding over Thanksgiving weekend. We will instead target Friday, December 5th, as the new Opening Day for the 2025/26 winter season, conditions permitting. This weekend, we will shift toward providing a stellar mountainside dining experience at the Chair 5 Pub.
Despite this fall’s challenging weather pattern, our snowmaking crew has been working relentlessly to seize every cold window available. Over the past several days, the team has fired up as many as 31 snow guns across the mountain, capitalizing on overnight temperature drops and making steady progress toward getting the ski area ready for guests. However, the late start to snowmaking left the team fighting an uphill battle: we did not receive a significant window of cold temperatures in the Base Area until this Monday, November 24th. In light of the cards they were dealt, we’re proud of the monumental efforts that this crew has put in, and they will continue to fire on all cylinders to get the mountain prepared.
We’re as eager as anyone to start the season, and this shift to December 5th gives us the runway we need to deliver a great experience on Opening Day. We’ll continue to provide regular updates as conditions evolve.
Chair 5 Pub Open This Weekend
While lifts will not be operating, the Chair 5 Pub Restaurant will be open Friday through Sunday, offering a slopeside retreat from the holiday weekend hustle and bustle and the debut of this winter’s menu.
Chair 5 Pub Hours (Nov 28–30):
- Friday: 11am–9pm with Ka Wham Cafe Espresso Bar open 11am-2pm
- Saturday: 11am–9pm
- Sunday: 9am–2pm
All Season Passholders will receive a 25% discount at Chair 5 Pub this weekend with their RFID card.
Firefighter & Emergency Personnel Appreciation
We will once again honor local heroes through the Firefighter and Emergency Personnel Appreciation Program, providing free skiing and riding for Firefighters, EMTs, and Law Enforcement professionals, including 2025 seasonal personnel, from Opening Day through Sunday, December 14th.
