Over the past 48 hours, Mission Ridge has experienced some of the wildest December weather in our recorded history, including unprecedented rainfall, unusually high temperatures, and sustained high winds across the mountain. This combination has significantly impacted snow surfaces and left substantial cleanup work across the resort. Our thoughts are with our staff, guests, and everyone across the Northwest who have also been affected by these storms.
To preserve the snowpack we have and to give our teams the time needed to clean up after the weather event, we will remain closed through this weekend. Our crews will be working diligently to evaluate terrain, clear debris, and prepare the mountain for reopening.
We are currently planning to reopen on Thursday, December 18th, conditions permitting.
Thank you for your patience and understanding as we navigate the aftermath of this extreme weather. We remain committed to reopening as soon as conditions allow.
If you purchased tickets, rentals, or lessons for December 12th, 13th, or 14th, you will be issued refunds for those purchases.
The Chair 5 Pub Restaurant and the Retail Shop will be open on Saturday, December 13th and Sunday December 14th from 11am to 5pm each day with special discounts across the menu.
