Skier making turn on groomed run

12/18 Conditions Report

10AM Update: We are skiing above the clouds to start the day so come on up and get your dose of Vitamin Ski! Groomed runs are skiing great this morning from top to bottom . Expect conditions to become more variable as the day progresses. Please stay on open runs and respect all rope lines/trail closures, as they are there for your safety.

Who’s ready for some midweek skiing?! We sure are! The mountain is now open daily through March, so there is always a great time to get away to make some turns. Even better, night skiing kicks off on December 26th.

For our first Monday out on the mountain, we are looking at warmer temps at the summit than in the Base Area. As of 6:30am, it is 36 degrees at the top of Chair 2 and 26 degrees in the Base Area. Look for softer turns to become firmer and more variable as you drop in elevation. The forecast is calling for just a little bit of precip, so keep your fingers crossed it comes in cold, and we get a little snow.

Chairs 1, 2, and 4 as well as all surface lifts will be scheduled for operation. The runs Sunspot, Tumwater, Bomber Access Road, Boundary Road, Kiwa, Java, Toketie, Castle, Sitkum, Lower Chak Chak, Mimi, and Pika Peak will be open. Additional terrain will open as conditions permit. Chair configuration for the remainder of the week will be determined each day.

*Please stay on open runs and respect all rope lines/trail closures, as they are there for your safety.*
