A trace of new snow fell overnight, bringing our storm totals to 2 inches in the last 24 hours, 17 inches in the Upper Basin over the last 48 hours, and 14 inches near Midway. Winter has returned in full, and the mountain continues to rebuild quickly following last week’s weather.
Snowmaking operations ran through the night, though production was more limited on Mimi near the Base Area due to blustery winds. Despite the wind challenges, the team gained valuable ground across the mountain and is continuing to push hard as conditions allow. We still need additional snow on Mimi to provide the coverage necessary to open but you can rest assured that our teams are doing absolutely everything they can to make it happen.
As of 9:00am Saturday morning, we are not yet ready to make a final call on Sunday operations. Our teams are actively assessing snow surfaces, coverage, and terrain readiness, and we will share a full update by 4:00pm this afternoon.

Uphill Policy
Modified Uphill Policy In Effect.
Closed runs/areas are: Sunspot, Tumwater, and Mimi
Ski touring (up or down the ski area), snowshoeing, or hiking within these zones of the ski area is prohibited. At this time of year things change rapidly and the mountain operations departments are working hard to get us ready to open. The safety of the public and our staff during this timeframe is our top concern. If in doubt – stay out.**
