12/23/23 Conditions Report

A cold, calm night is starting to give way to a clear, colorful morning. The recent inversion has lifted and dropped temperatures back into the full winter range across the mountain. The thermometer shows about 10-15 degrees cooler than 24 hours ago. This drop in temps has allowed our Snowmaking Crews to get back out there to refresh some of the runs while we wait for a forecast of new snow on the 25th. This morning’s conditions will be variable and range from softer groomed surfaces to firmer and hard-packed areas. Surface conditions off the groomed runs will be extremely variable and firmer. The forecast calls for a beautiful Christmas on the Mountain event today with sunny skies and calm winds. For a full schedule of Christmas on the Mountain activities, click here.

Also, a quick reminder that we are open today from 9am to 4pm, will be open tomorrow (12/24) from 9am to 2pm, and Monday (12/25) from 11am to 4pm. Night Skiing will start 12/26.

*Early season conditions exist. Please stay on open runs and respect all rope lines/trail closures as they are there for your safety.*
