12/26 Conditions Report

10am Update: What a beautiful day on the mountain! If you’re not here, you’re missing out. Luckily, there is still plenty of time to come on up as we are open until 9pm for our first night of Night Skiing this season. The Grooming crew did a bang-up job mixing in the 3″ of fresh snow we’ve received in the last 24 hours and off-piste (off the groomed runs) terrain is better than expected! The new snow holds up pretty well, but remember that the fresh snow is sitting on low coverage. If you don’t know what it looked like yesterday before the snow, I’d be very cautious when venturing off the groom. On top of the soft surface conditions, we have sunny skies and calm winds. It’s a perfect day to escape to the mountain!

Early Morning Report: Our Christmas wish has been delivered as we’ve picked up 3″+ of new snow in the last 24 hours! This will be a nice refresh to the groomed runs, which should be a ton of fun today! We still need to see more new snow to really bring our off-piste (non-groomed) terrain into play, so please be cautious if venturing off the groomed runs into open, off-piste terrain today. Surface conditions will range from soft turns on freshly groomed runs to more variable conditions off-piste.

Even more exciting than the new snow is the fact that Night Skiing kicks off tonight! Chairs 1, 2, 4, and all surface lifts will be open until 9pm. Night Ski-only lift tickets are available and are valid from 5 pm to close. For more info on our Night Skiing terrain, CLICK HERE.

*Early season conditions exist. Low coverage in places. Please stay on open runs and respect all rope lines/trail closures, as they are there for your safety.
