Two snowboarders ride down a groomed slope at Mission Ridge during dusk, with snow-covered trees and a pink-and-purple sunset sky in the background.

12/29/25 Night Conditions Report

4pm Conditions Report

We’re getting set to light up the mountain for another night of skiing and riding at Mission Ridge! After a full day on the slopes, conditions are lining up well as we head into the evening.

Snow surfaces have seen a solid day of skier and rider traffic, so expect variable conditions tonight. You’ll find a mix of softer snow in lower-traffic areas alongside firmer, more packed surfaces on busier runs. Overall coverage remains good, but conditions will vary run to run and evolve as the night goes on.

Tonight’s weather looks favorable for night skiing, with mostly cloudy skies and steady temperatures around 27 degrees. A light southwest wind near 7 mph should keep things comfortable, and visibility is expected to remain good under the lights.

Beginner-friendly terrain is best accessed via the Ottobahn Carpet, Pika Peak Rope Tow, and Chair 1. Terrain off Chair 2 is better suited for advanced skiers and rider, especially at night, where snow surfaces more variable.

As always, ski and ride within your ability, stay aware of changing conditions, and enjoy the experience under the lights.

We’re looking forward to another great night on the mountain
