10:00 Conditions Update: It’s another one of Mission Ridge’s classic uncrowded, sunny days! All the chairs are spinning as the sunlight descends over the mountain. The groomers are smooth and edgeable while off-piste is settling in with pockets of pow to be found if you know where to look. Conditions can be variable, so make sure to feel out your tracks before committing to your line. Visibility is great across the mountain so make sure to drink in the views! It feels like you have the mountain to yourself, so stretch out your ski legs and explore!
9:00am Update: Chair 2 is now loading. Temperatures are expected to be cold, so dress for success by layering well and covering all exposed skin.
8:30am Update: Chair 2 will be on hold to start the day due to the cold temperatures.
7:45am Update:Â There is a possibility of a delayed opening this morning on Chiar 2 due to the cold temperatures. We will continue to update regarding the status of Chair 2 this morning.
6:30 Conditions Report: Here comes the sun! Our Tuesday is expected to open with a welcome dose of sunshine over the mountain. We’re getting a break from the prolific snowfall before that wintery weather kicks back up again later this week. Temperatures are expected to be cold, so dress for success by layering well and covering all exposed skin. We have two full service lodges on the mountain, Midway Lodge by Chair 2 and Hampton Lodge at the base, so no matter where you are on the slopes, you have a place to take breaks to warm up with some hot bevies and tasty food. Our grooming team is working hard to lay down corduroy for you to enjoy as you cruise the slopes this morning!
